10 Things To Do With Kids in Bali
It's no secret Australians love #Bali. It's a gorgeous, #family friendly island and we've made quite the list of things to do, cultivated from years of experience. Finding things that entertain the kids while not boring the adults to death? Now that's true #luxury.
This was our 8th visit to Bali. Australians love vacationing on the ‘island of the gods’. And while previously we were one of them, we decided to spend more then the weekend or week holidaying in Bali and spent two months immersing ourselves in it's wonderful culture. Here is a great list of things we found to do with our kids. We hope it helps for your vacation.
1. Waterbom Park
Waterslide heaven, fun for young and old. Every time we go to Bali, we go to Waterbom. We've enjoyed it as singles, married, and now with kids. You'll spend the day here alternating between thriller slides and the lazy river, while the kids enjoy splashing around at the toddler-designed Funtastic play area.
Cost - Adult: US$33 Child: US$21 (2 to 11). Updated 2015. At a tour booth you can get tickets for about: Adult - $27, Child $19. Under 2's are free.
Location - Downtown Kuta, near Discovery Mall & Bali Dynasty Hotel.
2. Ubud Cycling Tour

Kids rode on the back of the bikes and both fell asleep at some stage in the journey causing quite a few laughs from the locals. Any fitness level should be fine with this trip.
A giant indoor playground with everything, books, instruments, swings, slides, houses, toys, ball pits, cubbies, everything! They even do classes and they have a café with free Wi-Fi for the adults. Don't forget socks! You must wear socks, but they do sell them for $1 if you forget.
Cost - It is about AUD$9.50 entry for a 3 hour visit per child, adults free with child. Updated 2015.
Location - Sanur between KFC and McDonalds on the main Bypass Ngurah Rai.
4. Bali Dynasty Resort
On previous visits to Bali we have stayed at the Bali Dynasty Resort. It is a great hotel with family rooms, kids club, 3 pools, many restaurants, markets and a great location in South Kuta, minutes from Waterbom. Recently they did some work to the kid’s pool and reopened it with a big, kid’s water playland. Go check it out and stay afterwards on a Thursday night for Satay Night at the H20 restaurant. All you can eat satay, one of our favourites. And they follow it with a great Indonesian cultural show.

5. Bali Bird Park & Reptile Park
If you like birds, this place is for you. Hundreds of birds in an easy to stroll park. Our favourite part was the great restaurant playground. Also included in the ticket is the Reptile Park with a personal tour guide. Lots of hands on action & crocodiles.
Cost - US$29.50 for adults, children 2 – 12 $14.50, kids under 2 free. Updated 2015.

6. Bali Safari & Marine Park
There are 4 parks here - the marine park, the safari park, a water park & a fun park. My kids had more fun in the last two then any entertainment the animals provided. But if you don't visit zoos very often this is one that will impress.
