Ziplining in Vegas – Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon Zipline
#Ziplining in #LasVegas is adrenaline pumping at the least! Not only are the views breathtaking, they also are everywhere your head turns to, so much #nature to be admired! We throughly enjoyed are local #active adventure and will defiantly be back to complete another!
It’s finally getting cooler in Vegas, so we figured it’s time to venture outdoors with local adventures! We had never been zip lining before, and I’m the type of person who likes to experience everything at least once. Though I had never imagined that I would be ziplining in Vegas for my first time (since we live here), sometimes it’s really now or never.

We’re so glad we did, because we had blast with Flightlinez! Scott, Nick, John, and the new guy (it was his actual first day) took great care of us and made sure we didn’t die. Plus, this fits in great with our theme of local adventures. We want to learn to appreciate everything that our own city has to offer and take time to water our own grass instead of thinking the grass is greener on the other side. :)

Getting prepped with safety class. Also, they have sunscreen ready for you in costco sized bottles.
What to Pack and Wear for Ziplining in Vegas:
Wear pants or something that won’t be showing your goods when you are instructed to have your legs spread. I wore my favorite stretchy uniqlo legging pants, and Jacob wore his seven jeans.
We both wore long sleeves, because it was chilly in the morning, but it got hot after the hike. It depends on the time of year / day, but I would recommend short sleeves and packing a layer.
Hiking shoes (Mine & Jacobs). It’s a short hike, so you don’t have to be all geared up, but it can be slippery on the rocks and rubble. One of the guys with us slipped pretty bad.
We got the gopro package, but brought our 5D Mark III with the 35/1.4L and the 70-200/2.8L lens to shoot photos. You can shoot before and after but not during. We took turns going down first with the camera and then shooting the other person coming down.
We love our REI daypack. We take it on all our day hikes and outings now.
No need to pack water. They provide plenty of water bottles
