Radisson Blu Hotels In Paris With #BluBloggers

Radisson Blu Hotels In Paris With #BluBloggers

Ahh, #Paris. This magical city has been capturing hearts since its founding in the 3rd century BC. Aside from the numerous world class #museums, the #charming streets of Paris are art in itself. No #aspirational trip to the City of Light would be complete without a fantastic hotel in which to rest your head - #Radisson.

A city that needs no introduction, Paris

What do you get when you have 14 travel and lifestyle bloggers from around Europe, one fantastic hotel chain, and 4 exciting events throughout the year? The #BluBloggers and I’m excited to be partnering with Radisson hotels as one of their ambassadors this year.

‘What the heck are #BluBloggers?’ I hear you asking. Well you all know what bloggers are and the ‘Blu’ is for the Radisson Blu line of high end hotels. #BluBloggers are Ambassadors for the Radisson Blu line and as such, we’ll be sent to several Radisson hotels throughout the year. We’ll be providing you with hotel reviews as well as our usual travel tips for the cities we visit. (You can follow the #BluBlogger hashtag on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to see what we’re up to.)

I was excited to find out my Belgian #Blublogger partner in crime is Emma, from the wonderful Au Gout d’Emma (If you haven’t checked out her site, it’s full of great foodie and travel tips en français!) Emma and I met at Gare du Midi, early last Monday, for a day trip to Paris, where we would meet the other #BluBloggers and explore three of Radisson’s properties.

I’m not used to being on this side of the camera! Here I am with my fellow #BluBloggers from Benelux – Ashley from Amsterdam Blog and Emma from Au Gout d’Emma.

Our first stop was the Radisson Blu Hotel Champs Elysées, Paris.

This was the largest of the three properties we visited and the most ‘international’ in design and atmosphere. After introductions and presentations, we were treated to an excellent lunch. The only pity was it wasn’t yet warm enough to enjoy the lovely terrace!

famous for its picture perfect views of the Eiffel Tower – Oh la la!

I loved the sleek modern design of this hotel and the Metropolitan Restaurant looks stunning. As does the beautiful pool area downstairs.

The sleek and stylish Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan.

The rooms also continue the modern design, including the heavenly looking bathrooms!

We paused for a break (and a little photo shoot) in the Lounge Bar – the perfect place for a drink, in view of that famous tower, before hitting the town.

Nibbles in Le Metropolitan’s bar and in room nibbles at Le Dokhan’s.

Our final destination was my favourite (and somewhere I hope to stay on a future Paris visit) – Radisson Blu Le Dokhan’s.

From the moment you step in the door, Le Dokhan’s screams Paris.

The rooms are traditional Parisian chic, and each one is different.

Lovely Parisian rooms and 3 bloggers in a suitcase!

The teeny tiny elevator is a deconstructed/reconstructed Louis Vuitton suitcase. Adorable!

But my favourite room was the elegant champagne bar. We were informed the boutique Le Dokhan’s has more champagnes than rooms. Now that’s my kind of hotel!

Who wants champagne? Le Dohkan’s stylish bar with live jazz nights.

Later this year, I’ll be doing a full review of a Radisson Blu in Brussels: From the food, to how comfy the beds are. Then, in the late autumn, I’ll be off to Cannes to review the Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso, Cannes (Yes, I'm really hoping it includes a trip to the spa!).

I hope you’ll follow me and my fellow #BluBloggers to discover more of what Radisson has to offer for accommodations around Europe.

I visited the Radisson properties in Paris as a guest of Radisson Blu hotels. As always, all opinions are my own.
