What you will do

Section III of the Chattooga is the perfect trip for novices and family groups. Most of the rapids on this section are Class II and III, gradually increasing in difficulty as the trip progresses. Bull Sluice is the highlight of the trip. Dropping 14 feet over a series of two drops, this challenging rapid provides a resounding introduction to the technical rapids downstream. A delicious Riverside lunch and opportunities to swim are included. This is a fully guided trip with a guide in each raft.

Wildwater Rafting

Jim and Jeanette Greiner founded Wildwater in 1971 on the Chattooga River, the first commercial rafting company in the Southeast. Wildwater grew to four rivers and the Greiner’s assembled an experienced team of river runners to provide exceptional river trips. A few years ago the Greiners did it again, pioneering Canopy Tours in the Southeast, expanding to five locations, more locations than anyone else. Providing quality outdoor experiences in concert with nature is the guiding principle of Wildwater and the Greiners.
