What you will do
We will meet you at the trail head known as the Sunday Lake dog sledding trails just off Highway 60 (at approx. Km 35 in Algonquin Park).
Our tours run with two guests per sled, and participants have plenty of opportunity to drive their own team. Before every mushing experience begins, our guides will run through all aspects of mushing, commands, dog care and trail etiquette.
Following this, everyone gets involved in harnessing the dogs and hooking up the teams. We will then head out to enjoy an exhilarating 20 - 40km's on the trail as you learn to mush your own dog team while enjoying the beauty and splendors of Algonquin Park in winter.
Our well-trained, certified guides and a team of 5-7 friendly Alaskian huskies will accompany you on the trails, we provide hot beverages after the tour. Lunch is provided for day trips.
